Master Gardeners are trained volunteers of the University of Maryland Extension, who are dedicated to helping the citizens of Montgomery County, Maryland.
Our mission is to educate County residents about safe, effective and sustainable horticultural practices that build healthy gardens, landscapes and communities.
Master Gardeners offer free services that the public may take advantage of, including telephone consultation, ask us a question via email, plant clinics, landscape design for government and non-profit organizations, therapeutic horticulture, and a speakers bureau.
Additional information can be found about our organization using the links on the left, and on this one page summary, which describes all the services we offer, and which is particularly suitable for distribution or posting.
Our spring 2013 Mini-conference will be held February 23, 2013. Registration forms and other information about the Mini-conference are available.
